One of the Foundation’s most significant international collaborations, the USIDHR–OFEF Human Trafficking Prevention Scholarship and Certification Programme, provided fully sponsored scholarships for women to complete internationally recognized training and certification as Anti-Trafficking Consultants.
Implementation convened key stakeholders including the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), the Ekiti State Ministry of Justice, the Ekiti State Task Force on Human Trafficking, the Network Against Child Trafficking, Abuse and Labour (NACTAL), the Nigeria Police Force, the Nigeria Immigration Service, academic institutions and civil society organizations.
Beyond certification, the programme established a network of trained advocates committed to raising awareness, supporting prevention efforts and protecting vulnerable populations from trafficking and exploitation.
